Day 01: Srinagar arrival - Pahalgam

Arrival at Srinagar City/Airport meet our representatives and drive to Pahalgam. This 4-hour drive is a drive through the paradise of natural beauty. Kashmir is called by numerous poets and they have gone ahead of claiming that if there is Paradise on earth it is Kashmir. The drive is through river Sindh. The river Sindh is considered historic as one of 4 early civilizations Sindhu Ghati civilization was located along this river.

Overnight Stay at hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 02: Pahalgam – Baba Amarnath - Pahalgam (By Helicopter)

This morning you will take a wonderful Helicopter ride over Himalayas to Panchtarni. Amarnath cave is approximately 6 Km’s ( Approx. 2 hours) by walk or pony ride from Helipad. A Pony sortie will take 4-6 passengers at a time. The Amarnath Cave Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, temples throughout South Asia that commemorate the location of fallen body parts of the Hindu deity Sati (Goddess Parvati in her previous life).  On return from cave enjoy the view of Panchtarni and board helicopter for return journey to Pahalgam.

Day 03: Pahalgam - Srinagar

  • Take a flight from Pahalgam to Srinagar early morning. If you are a nature lover perhaps this would be one of the feasts that your eyes and your heart will remember for the rest of life. Proceed to local Sightseeing of the treasures of Srinagar. Mughal Gardens, Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), Pari Mahal are some of the world-renowned places. You will also visit Shankarachariya Temple. In the afternoon enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight in the houseboat hotel in Srinagar.

Day 04: Srinagar Airport drop

  • Morning timely transfer to Srinagar Airport to board the flight for your respective destination.

Day 05: Cherapunji to Shilong via Dawki

  • Today morning after breakfast at 08:00 A.M drive to Terla village ( 20 minutes) from where you will start your walk to Nongriat and will visit the Living Root Bridges in the area (trekking 2 hrs downhill and 2.30 hrs uphill back). You have to walk 3000 steps downhill and uphill to reach these beautiful living root s bridges. Living root bridges are one of the major highlights during the Assam and Meghalaya Cultural, nature and wildlife tour. You will visit a couple of living root bridges in the area and the most famous among all is the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat. Walking to Nongriat will take minimum 5-6 hrs both ways as you will stop for various pictures break and will also have lunch in the village. Return back to Cherrapunji by evening. Second night stay at the same hotel in Cherrapunji.
    Please Note: Alternative sightseeing or change of tour plan would be suggested during the time of planning your tour with us, for the people who do not want to do this hike to the Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village (5-6 hrs of walking down and up both ways).
