Day-1 Arrive at Port Blair.

Arrival in Port Blair

On arrival at Port Blair by flights, proceed to your respective hotel for check-in. Balance of the day at leisure to acclimatize for the day.

Evening Visit to Cellular Jail:

In the late afternoon, you would be taken for a visit to the Cellular Jail, a place of pilgrimage for all freedom lovers all over the world. The tour of the prison is followed by a spectacular Light and Sound Show. Please note that Cellular Jail remains closed on Mondays and all national holidays. Entry to the jail and museum closes at 4:00 PM. Tickets to the Light and Sound show are available on a first-come, first-served basis. After the show, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Port Blair.

Cellular Jail: A Historical Site

The Cellular Jail stands as an emotional monument for India in its fight for freedom. This three-storied prison, created by the British, was used to cage many prominent fighters for the cause of India’s independence. Declared a national memorial, this place reminds visitors of the inhumane treatment by the prison authorities towards all the prisoners, most of whom were political prisoners. This site serves as a pilgrimage center for those who wish to pay homage to the memories of India’s freedom struggle. There are several tales of great valor and sacrifice shared here. The evening Sound and Light Show adds more interest to the tour by relating the struggles and sacrifices made by these great souls in an engaging display.

Day-2 Port Blair – Havelock Island.

Your Day 2 tour will take you by ferry either early morning or afternoon to Havelock Island. Havelock Island is an island situated approximately 54 kilometers away from Port Blair. A two-hour ferry ride enjoys the view of the ocean described as scenic. Once there, you will visit Radhanagar Beach to enjoy the sunbath in the afternoon and some serenity in the environment. You will go back to your hotel and spend the night in Havelock after a day of rest and exploration.

Radhanagar Beach: A Tropical Paradise

Radhanagar Beach is also known as Beach Number 7. This beach is very beautiful and peaceful. It is 12 km from the Havelock ferry pier and was awarded the title of ‘Asia’s Best Beach’ by TIME Magazine. White sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters make this the perfect spot for relaxation as well as rejuvenation. The most serene atmosphere at this beach makes it a perfect venue for couples to walk hand in hand under the sun. It affords an opportunity for high-quality waters in which turbidity or aggressive wave action does not play on to divert visitors as the water quality is considered exemplary.

Day-3 Havelock

    Havelock Day
    You enjoy breakfast at the resort with a taste of Andaman Island. The day is free for leisure activities, so you may stay at the resort or venture out to see the local environment or try the water sports activities at Havelock.

    You will have to check out by 9:00 AM for your transfer back to Port Blair via ferry. After about an hour and a half, upon landing, go straight to your respective hotel and take some time to relax at your leisure. Enjoy your stay in the hotel overnight, reflecting on your lovely experiences in Havelock.

Day-4 Port Blair

  • Day at Ross Island

    After having your breakfast at your hotel, you will visit Ross Island (please note that the island is closed on Wednesdays). This place is a great destination that provides a view of the colonial past of the region and opportunities for picturesque nature walks.

    In the evening, visit the Samudrika Museum and the Marine Museum, which hold treasures of the rich marine biodiversity in the Andaman Islands. Please note that the museums are closed on Mondays, so the sightseeing time would be rescheduled. If the ferry to Ross Island is out of order, an alternative outing will be arranged at Carbyn's Cove Beach to ensure you don’t miss the picturesque coastal beauty of the region.

    Ross Island, a former British administrative headquarters during colonial times, abounds in history and offers scenic beauty, making it perfect for nature walks among the relic ruins of British structures. It’s a good place to relax and observe roaming deer, peacocks, and many colorful exotic birds.

Day-5 Depart from Port Blair.

    Enjoy a breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Following your meal, you will be transferred from the hotel to the airport for your onward journey.
