An Unforgettable Experience for Ayodhya Darshan

CHADAR FROZEN RIVER TREK

Why Chadar Frozen River Trek?
The Chadar Trek, located in Ladakh, India, is a winter trail over the frozen Zanskar River and traditionally serves as the only means of travel during harsh winter months. Starting from Leh, the trek offers breathtaking views of snow-drenched mountains and feels akin to an expedition to the North Pole, with an altitude of 11,078 feet. Typically undertaken in January or February, when the ice is thick and stable, temperatures can drop to -20 degrees Celsius or lower. Despite the extreme cold, the trek is accessible to both seasoned trekkers and novices, with proper gear and provisions being crucial. Adventurers often camp along the riverbanks and find shelter in caves, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience in one of the world's most beautiful and remote regions.
