Day Trip to Dwarka
In the morning, after having breakfast, proceed for Dwarka. This place is situated about 150 kilometers from the hotel. It takes three hours to get there. Dwarka is an ancient city and also a very important place among Hindus as they believe it is the capital set up by Lord Krishna. Rich in mythology and history, marine excavations hint of the city's importance and have led some to surmise that this is part of the legendary 'Dwarawati' from the life of Krishna.
Beautifully lined beaches to relax make the place very attractive, so start with visiting the central part of Dwarka - Dwarkadhish Temple. Visit the Sabha Mandap, an enormous 60-pillared hall inside the temple complex where ancient scriptures can be seen, along with a panoramic view of the Gomti River.
Take a short sea journey to Bet Dwarka, which is around 30 kilometers from Dwarka. This island is one of the major pilgrimages with the sea all around, providing a tranquil environment to reflect and be devoted. When in Dwarka, one should not miss the temple between Gomati Dwarka and Bet Dwarka, which houses the Jyotirlinga known as Nageshwar Mahadev supposed to protect from poison and which pilgrims visit throughout the year.
Finally, there is Rukmini Temple, which is located about 2 kilometers from Dwarka. Dating 2,500 years, this temple, associated with an interesting myth about Lord Krishna and Rukmini, boasts well-carved exteriors along with wonderfully domed mandapa. After a full day of discovering spirituality and the depth of cultures, return back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Dwarka.

Proceed further with your drive to Somnath, check into a hotel there, and then do your holy visit to the magnificent Somnath Temple, which is a great cultural and national heritage. This sacred temple is one of the twelve jyotirlingas and boasts a history of plundering and reconstruction that symbolizes the power and resilience of Indian society. The present beautiful temple was rebuilt about five decades ago on the same site as the original one by the efforts of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Also visit Bhalka Tirth, where Lord Krishna is said to have ended his life journey. This place depicts the final journey of Lord Krishna. The newly married can experience spiritual fervor by being one with it.

Day 05: Somnath – Gir (50Kms/1 ½ hrs)
-
Day Trip to Gir:
After breakfast, leave for Gir. This place is about 50 Kms/1 ½ hours away. Sasan Gir, popularly known as Gir, is India's most renowned lion sanctuary and is the only home of the Asiatic lion in the subcontinent. Situated on the southwestern edge of the Saurashtra peninsula in Gujarat, Gir shelters almost 400 Asiatic lions. This sanctuary was formed in 1913 to preserve these magnificent creatures and was officially declared a sanctuary in 1965. Since 1980, the lion population has been growing every year, making it the only place where you can find this magnificent animal in its own habitat, which cannot be found anywhere else other than Africa. Once you reach there, check into a hotel and rest for some time.
In the afternoon, go for a spine-tingling safari ride in Gir National Park. Lion safaris are most famous in this park. You can use jeeps for traveling to different landscapes. Apart from Asiatic lions, the park is home to a variety of other animals, including chital, chinkara, four-horned antelope, leopards, nilgai, spotted deer, wild boar, wild ass, monkeys, parrots, peacocks, and many species of birds.
