Itinary
GLIMPSE OF KASHMIR
Duration:04 Nights/05 Days
Places Covered: Srinagar (01 Night) –Gulmarg (01 Night) – Pahalgam (01 Night) – Srinagar (01 Night Houseboat)
Day 01: Arrive Srinagar
After arrival at Srinagar airport meet our representative and he will take you to hotel. Check inn to hotel. Later after freshening leave for local sightseeing of Srinagar in our vehicle covering Mughal Gardens with Nishat Garden (The Garden Of Pleasure), Shalimar Garden ( The Abode Of Love), Tulip Garden, Cheshmasahi Garden( The Royal Spring), Pari mahal & Shankaracharaya Temple. Later at evening after complete enjoyment of the day back to hotel. Dal Lake: The Dal is famous not only for its beauty, but for its vibrance, because it sustains within its periphery, a life that is unique anywhere in the world. Nishat Bagh: is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, close to Srinagar in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Mughal Gardens: Cheshmashahi is the first Mughal garden. Cheshmashahi has only three terraces in addition to a natural spring of water enclosed in a stone pavilion. Shankaracharya Temple: Atop the hill called Takht-e-Suleiman, a 5 km climb from Nehru Park on a metalled road. Night Stay at Srinagar Hotel.
Day 02: Srinagar – Gulmarg (60 Kms/02 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel, we proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful resorts in the valley. It is at 52kms from Srinagar. Gulmarg has been a resort for the kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. Gulmarg boasts Asia’s highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft). Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and also has highest golf course in the world with 18 holes. One can have panoramic view of snow-clad mountain. Dinner and night stay at Gulmarg hotel. Khilanmarg is the famous spot for skiing in winters. From Khilanmarg, you can enjoy the views of the Kashmir valley and the Himalayan range. Alpather Lake The Alpather Lake is a picturesque alpine lake that remains frozen until late June. Breakfast included.Night Stay at Gulmarg Hotel
Day 03: Gulmarg – Pahalgam (140 Kms/03 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Pahalgam, en-route visit Saffron fields of Pampora, Awantipura ruins and see the beautiful countryside. Later continue drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) through the dense pine forest, the confluence of the streams flowing from the river Lidder. Later proceed to have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of splendid view of mountains. The mountain town is located along the bank of River Lidder. Here you can visit many breath-taking palace like Beetab Valley and you can also go for sightseeing of Chandanwari, Aaru valley by local taxi (ON OWN COST). On arrival at Pahalgam check into your hotel. Betab Valley is a very popular touristic destination.
Day 04: Pahalgam-Srinagar with Night Stay in Houeboat (100 Kms/03 Hrs)

This morning after breakfast leave for Srinagar. After reaching Srinagar you can go for shopping then check inn houseboat later take 01-hour shikara ride in Dal Lake where you can see floating garden, Meena Bazaar etc. later houseboat for night stay.Breakfast included. Night Stay at Srinagar Houseboat.
Day 05: Srinagar Airport Drop

After a hearty breakfast, check out from hotel and travel to Srinagar Airport by Air-Conditioned vehicle to board the flight for home town with beautiful memories. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 06: Sabargram to Gorkhey via Phalut

Today's trek is easy with a mostly descending trail. Views of Kangchenjunga on your left will keep the photographer in you alive. The trek will take about 5 hours to reach Gorkhey. Once we cross the Gorkhey river, we enter Sikkim. Camp overnight at Gorkhey.
Day 07: Gorkhey to Sepi

Start early from Gorkhey. Walking through Sammanden and Rammam villages, we will reach Sepi around 2 PM. The trek ends here.
