Why Hills & Back Water?
Munnar has recently gained popularity for being one of the most coveted hill stations in South India. Located in God’s own country, the place is full of sights to see and destinations waiting for you to explore. The city is surrounded by green blankets of valleys and majestic mountain peaks, and it is the perfect place to enjoy some down-time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whenever we hear Kerala, our imagination places us in a houseboat in the famous backwaters, drinking coconut water and eating in a plantain leaf. Explore, In the backdrop are the tall coconut trees and lush green nature. Going on a houseboat cruise in the backwaters of Kerala is a dream which requires little effort to make it a reality. Kerala Backwaters being the largest freshwater source for Kerala are a rich bed of marine flora and fauna that also embodies a variety of boating options.

Day 01: Arrive Kochi-Munnar (127 Kms/04 Hrs)
Arrival in Munnar
On arrival at Kochi International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and assisted in your transfer to Munnar. The four-hour distance of 127 kilometers brings you to the breathtaking Munnar.
Check-in and Leisure
After you arrive, check into the hotel and complete all the procedures there. Depending on the time, local sightseeing is possible to discover Munnar’s splendor. If that is not feasible, enjoy a relaxing day on your own or at leisure.
About Munnar
Munnar is 1,600 meters above sea level. This hill station used to be a favorite summer retreat for the British government in South India. It is nestled at the confluence of three mountain streams: Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale. Munnar is an excellent getaway.

Day 02: Munnar Sightseeing
Explore Munnar
After having breakfast in the hotel, get ready for this beautiful hill station wherein three streams-Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale-meet.
Visit scenic destination
The trip will begin with the most wonderful destination, Mattupetty Dam, where you will see beautiful lakes and hills. Then, visit Kundale Lake, which has the fame of cherry gardens and eye-catching views. And further, visit Echo Point that has a natural phenomenon of echoing amidst great scenic beauty.
Eravikulam National Park
Experience the endangered Nilgiri Tahr at close quarters amidst the lush, dense Rajamalai land while visiting Eravikulam National Park’s vast diversity of flora and fauna on display.
Relishing an exciting day of natural grandeur, head back to your hotel at Munnar for the night, rich with excellent memories from the beautiful sceneries that you just saw.
Day 03: Munnar-Thekkady (96 Kms/03 Hrs)

Thekkady Exploration
After a delicious breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive through scenic roads to reach Thekkady, 96 km away, taking about 3 hours. On arrival in Thekkady, check into your hotel and relax for some time. Later, either continue local sightseeing or spend the rest of the day at leisure, pursuing personal activities.
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary: Thekkady is significantly famous for its wildlife sanctuary, one of the world's most interesting wildlife reserves. Stretching over 777 square kilometres, this sanctuary has as much as 360 square kilometres of dense evergreen forest and is considered sacred because of the rich flora and fauna that live here and the surrounding natural beauty. Declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978, it offers a rare opportunity to view many species in their natural habitats.
For your sightseeing, you could visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and a Spice Plantation. Here you get to know about the commercial cultivation of spices in Kerala. End the day, full of discovery and leisure, back at your hotel in Thekkady.
Day 04: Thekkady-Alleppey (150 Kms/04 Hrs)

Alleppey Houseboat Experience
After having an enjoyable breakfast in your hotel, check out and drive to Alleppey, which is 150 km from here, and you should take about four hours of your time to get there.
Once you reach Alleppey, check in to the houseboat in which you will be taken. The backwaters of Alleppey are serene and offer an experience beyond. Float over the traditional Chinese fishing nets, take in what's happening around as expansive paddy fields spring into view, along with coir-making local artisans through rustic homes and coconut trees swaying in the breeze.
Delectable food awaits you on board to savor local cuisine in a comfortable and idyllic setting. Finally, return for an overnight stay on board, where you shall be rocked into a perfect night's sleep by the gentle murmurs of the water.
Day 05: Alleppey-Kochi Airport Drop (70 Kms/02 Hrs)

You have a relaxing breakfast onboard and then prepare for transfer to Kochi International Airport. It is an easy 70 km, taking around two hours by a conditioned vehicle. Three hours prior to your international flight time, you must reach the airport for smooth departure formalities. Think of all the pleasant times, beautiful experiences, and memories you would have gathered from your holidays in God's Own Country.
