Day 01: Jammu Airport – Katra (50 Kms/02 Hrs)

Arrival at Jammu airport/Railway Station our RIE representative will meet & greet you and the transfer to Katra This small town serves as the base camp for visiting the famous shrine of Vaishnodeviji in the Trikuta Hills. The shrine is approachable on foot along a 12 kms. Long well laid footpath every year, nearly 4-5 million pilgrims pass through Katra on their way to Vaishnodeviji on arrival at katra check in Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Mai Vaishno Devi (Altitude 5300 feets. Trek 13 Kms)

After breakfast leave for Mai Vaishno Devi Darshan by Trek/Helicopter Included Route for Trekers is Katra/Banganga (1.5 Km) Banganga/Charan Paduka (1.5 Km) Charan Paduka-Adhkunwari ( 3 Km) Adhkunwari-Bhavan ( 7 Km) & Drive to Helicopter Base to connect your helicopter towards mai vaishno devi  flight time 10 minutes to reach Vaishno Devi Temple, have Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. After having Prasad proceed to Bhairo Baba Temple by horse/Cable Car and reach the helipad by horse to fly down to Katra. After returning Katra relax in the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Katra

Day 03: Jammu Airport/Railway Station (50 Kms. 2 Hours Drive)

  • After breakfast leave for Jammu to connect your flight/rail towards destinations.

Day 04: Day Walk to Nongriat Village to visit the Living Root Bridges

  • Today morning after breakfast at 08:00 A.M drive to Terla village (20 minutes) from where you will start your walk to Nongriat and will visit the Living Root Bridges in the area (trekking 2 hrs downhill and 2.30 hrs uphill back). You have to walk 3000 steps downhill and uphill to reach these beautiful living root s bridges. Living root bridges are one of the major highlights during the Assam and Meghalaya Cultural, nature and wildlife tour. You will visit a couple of living root bridges in the area and the most famous among all is the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat. Walking to Nongriat will take minimum 5-6 hrs both ways as you will stop for various pictures break and will also have lunch in the village. Return back to Cherrapunji by evening. Second night stay at the same hotel in Cherrapunji. Please Note: alternative sightseeing or change of tour plan would be suggested during the time of planning your tour with us, for the people who do not want to do this hike to the Living Root

Day 05: Cherapunji to Shilong via Dawki

  • Today morning after breakfast at 08:00 A.M drive to Terla village ( 20 minutes) from where you will start your walk to Nongriat and will visit the Living Root Bridges in the area (trekking 2 hrs downhill and 2.30 hrs uphill back).     Please Note: Alternative sightseeing or change of tour plan would be suggested during the time of planning your tour with us, for the people who do not want to do this hike to the Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village (5-6 hrs of walking down and up both ways).
