Itinary
PARADISE OF KASHMIR

Places Covered: Srinagar (04 Nights)-Pahalgam (01 Night)
Day 01: Arrive Srinagar
After arrival at Srinagar airport, our representative will take you to Srinagar hotel. After refreshment you will leave for sightseeing of Srinagar starting from ShankarAcharya temple, later on you can visit Mughal Gardens with Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Cheshmasahi Garden, Botanical garden, Pari Mahal. Also, if time allows you can visit the old city of Srinagar & Hazratbal Mosque and many other places nearby Dal Lake. In the evening back to the hotel.
Dal Lake: The Dal is famous not only for its beauty, but for its vibrance, because it sustains within its periphery, a life that is unique anywhere in the world. The houseboat and shikara communities have lived for centuries on the Dal. A Shikara ride is one of the most soothing, relaxing aspects of a holiday in Kashmir. It can be an hour long ride to see the sights of the Dal.
Nishat Bagh: is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, close to Srinagar in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake. ‘Nishat Bagh’ is Urdu, and means the “Garden of Joy,” “Garden of Gladness” and “Garden of Delight
Mughal Gardens: Cheshmashahi is the first Mughal garden. Cheshmashahi has only three terraces in addition to a natural spring of water enclosed in a stone pavilion. Nishat garden built by Empress Nur Jahan’s brother Asaf Khan. Nishat has several terraces, a central water course and a majestic site between the Dal and the Zabarwan hills. It is shaded by magnificent chinar trees. And Shalimar garden is a series of stone pavilions and flowing water with paint-box bleft flower beds.
Shankaracharya Temple: Atop the hill called Takht-e-Suleiman, a 5 km climb from Nehru Park on a metalled road.

Day 02: Srinagar- Sonmarg-Srinagar (85 Kms/03 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast get fresh and today you will visit Sonmarg. Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold). Sonmarg is absolutely true to its name, which means Meadow of Gold.
Sonmarg: lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonmarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high-altitude Himalayan Lakes. Sonmarg is the last stop of Kashmir District. From here starts the territory of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level. The moment you enter Sonmarg, the first thing that you will notice will be the snow-covered mountain that forms the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has few of the loveliest flower collections in Jammu and Kashmir. Here you can visit Thajiwas Glacier (by pony ride) where snow remains round the year. After completing sightseeing, return back to Srinagar by evening.

Day 03: Srinagar– Gulmarg – Srinagar (60 Kms/02 Hrs)

Today after breakfast get ready and leave for your trip to Gulmarg. Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 mts. Above the sea level. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course with 18 holes. Today you can enjoy a cable car known as Gondola Ride at Gulmarg. You can board the Gondola cable car system, and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colourful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some horse-riding to the strawberry valley. Rest of the day free at leisure for individual activities. Later on return back to Srinagar for night stay.
Day 04: Srinagar – Pahalgam(90 Kms/03 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from Srinagar hotel & drive to Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds). En-route visit the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Drive through the pine forests. Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy the Lidder stream. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. Dinner and Overnight stay at Pahalgam hotel. Breakfast included. Night Stay at Pahalgam Hotel.
Day 05: Pahalgam sightseeing and transfer Srinagar

After having your breakfast, you will be all set for your full day leisure in Pahalgam. Visiting Pahalgam doesn’t mean going mere to a hill-station but It is like enjoying in the lap of nature. If You want to have a romantic trip with your beloved or want to get together with your family, and have what they call a quality family time, Pahalgam is the most suitable place to do those little interesting things. Besides you can take a pony ride or plan a picnic next to a beautiful river. Pahalgam offers you with many breathtaking places; a few among them are Beetab Valley, Chandanwari & Aru Valley (In local taxi on own cost). After completing sightseeing return back to Srinagar for night stay. Betab Valley is a very popular touristic destination. Betaab Valley is also a favorite campsite of travelers as it also serves as a base camp for trekking and further exploration of the mountains.The valley is a walk-able distance from Pahalgam. The crystal clear & chilly water of the stream bubbling down from the snowy hills is a delight; locals here drink this water too. Baisaran and Tulian Lake are few nearby attractions that can be visited. Breakfast included. Night Stay at Srinagar Houseboat.
Day 06: Srinagar Airport Departure

Today after breakfast get fresh and pack your bags and you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport to catch a flight for onward destination with sweet Holiday memories.
Day 07: Gorkhey to Sepi

Start early from Gorkhey. Walking through Sammanden and Rammam villages, we will reach Sepi around 2 PM. The trek ends here.
