Day 01: Guwahati Airport – Shillong (100 kms / 03 hrs.)

Arrival in Guwahati and Transfer to Shillong

Arrival at Guwahati

On arrival at Guwahati Airport, meet and greet by our representative.

Transfer to Shillong

Transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), known as the “Scotland of the East.”

Enroute Visit: Umium Lake

Enroute, visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake surrounded by sylvan hills.

Arrival in Shillong

On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel.

Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 02: Shillong Sightseeing

Day in Shillong

Morning Activities

After breakfast, visit the following attractions:

  • Don Bosco Museum: Explore the rich cultural heritage of Northeast India.
  • Ward’s Lake: Enjoy a leisurely stroll around this beautiful lake.
  • Botanical Garden: Discover a variety of local flora in this serene setting.
  • Lady Hydari Park: Relax in this charming park known for its gardens and greenery.

Evening Leisure

The evening is free for personal activities.

Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 03: Shillong - Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 4 hrs.)

  • Trip to Cherrapunjee

    Morning Departure

    After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world.

    En-Route Attractions

    On the way, enjoy the scenic views of:

    • Mawkdok Valley
    • Nohkalikai Falls
    • Dainthelen Falls
    • Ramkrishna Mission (drive past)

    Arrival in Cherrapunjee

    On arrival at Cherrapunjee, check in at your hotel.

    Night Stay

    Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 04: Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing

  • Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing

    Breakfast

    After breakfast, prepare yourself to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge inside the deep jungle.

    Trekking Information

    It will take 3 to 4 hours of trekking, depending on the person's stamina to reach the bridge.

    Sightseeing

    Then visit the following sights:

    • Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Waterfalls or Mawsmai Falls)
    • Mawsmai Cave
    • Koh Ram Hah
    • Ecopark

    Back to Hotel

    Come back to the hotel in the evening for a Cherrapunjee Night Stay.

    Cherrapunjee Exploration

    Breakfast

    We had our breakfast, then got ready to see the Double Decker Living Root Bridge deep inside the jungle.

    Trekking Details

    It would take 3-4 hours of trekking to the bridge, depending on one's physical fitness.

    Sightseeing

    Later in the day, we shall visit:

    • Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Waterfalls or Mawsmai Falls)
    • Mawsmai Cave
    • Koh Ram Hah
    • Ecopark

    Return to Hotel

    In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 05: Cherrapunjee – Pobitora National Park (184 kms / 5 hrs.)

  • Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary Visit

    Morning Departure

    After breakfast, proceed to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, spread over 38.8 Sq. kms.

    Wildlife Introduction

    Pobitora is known as the denser concentration area for the Rhinos on earth. Other animals you may encounter include:

    • Asiatic Buffalo
    • Leopard
    • Wild Bear
    • Civet Cat

    The sanctuary is also home to more than 200 species of birds and various species of reptiles.

    Arrival and Check-In

    On arrival, proceed to your hotel and take a rest.

    Evening Attractions

    Enjoy the evening free for leisure or proceed for a nature walk in and around the park.

Day 06: Pobitora National Park – Kaziranga (146 kms / 4 hrs.)

  • Kaziranga National Park Visit

    Early Morning Activities

    Enjoy an elephant safari in the morning (subject to availability).

    Breakfast

    Return back to the hotel for breakfast.

    Jeep Safari

    Later, enjoy a jeep safari into Pobitora.

    Afternoon Transfer

    Transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the only home for the One Horned Rhinoceros.

    Check-In

    Arrive in Kaziranga and check into your hotel.

    Evening Activities

    The evening is free to explore.

    Night Stay

    Night stay at Kaziranga.

Day 07: Kaziranga National Park

  • Kaziranga National Park Activities

    Morning Elephant Safari

    Enjoy a morning elephant safari in one of the zones of Kaziranga National Park. Besides seeing the rhino, you may also spot:

    • Hog Deer
    • Swamp Deer
    • Wild Buffalo
    • Elephants
    • Possibly a Tiger if luck permits

    Additionally, look out for pelicans, storks, and darters, as there are several water bodies within the park premises.

    Return for Breakfast

    Return to the resort for breakfast.

    Mid-Morning Leisure

    Enjoy mid-morning at leisure.

    Afternoon Jeep Safari

    In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari through the National Park.

    Return to Hotel

    Return to the hotel after your safari.

    Night Stay

    Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 08: Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati (220 kms / 5 hrs.)

Day in Guwahati

Departure to Guwahati

Leave after breakfast for Guwahati.

Hotel Check-In

On arrival, check in at your hotel.

Evening Activity

In the evening, visit Kalakshetra, where you can enjoy a spectacular light and sound show that brings Assam’s history and culture to life.

Return to Hotel

After the performance, return to the hotel.

Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 09: Hotel – Guwahati Airport

  • Departure from Guwahati

    Breakfast

    After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple.

    Kamakhya Temple Overview

    Kamakhya Temple is a Sakta temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas.

    Located on Nilachal Hill in the western part of Guwahati, Assam, India, it serves as the central temple in a complex of individual temples dedicated to the ten Mahavidyas of Saktism:

    • Kali
    • Tara
    • Tripura Sundari
    • Bhuvaneshwari
    • Bhairavi
    • Chhinnamasta
    • Dhumavati
    • Bagalamukhi
    • Matangi
    • Kamalatmika

    Among these, Tripurasundari, Matangi, and Kamala reside inside the main temple, while the other seven have separate temples.

    It is also an important pilgrimage destination for Hindus, particularly for Tantric worshipers.

    Departure Transfer

    After visiting the temple, transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.

Day 10: Dimapur - Delhi

  • Today morning 07:00 A.M we will take you to visit the famous Jain temple in Dimapur where you can see the Jain people following their religious traditions. Return back to the hotel for breakfast and after breakfast as per your flight schedule we will transfer you to Dimapur airport, from where you will board your flight to New Delhi back. On arrival at New Delhi you will be met by our driver and we will transfer you to the hotel in New Delhi. Overnight stay at New Delhi. Bridge at Nongriat Village (5-6 hrs of walking down and up both ways).
