Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

A wildlife tour in Rajasthan is all about having fascinating encounters with a myriad list of wildlife species! On the first day of this enthralling wildlife tour, you will be warmly greeted by our tour guides and representatives as you arrive in the capital city of India, Delhi. Hereafter, they will assist you in checking-in into a hotel where you can spend the rest of the day at total leisure.

 

Day 02: Full-Day Delhi City Tour

On this day, our tour representatives will pick you up from the hotel and take for a full-day sightseeing tour around Delhi. Starting the day with a visit to major landmarks in New Delhi during the first half, you will also be visiting some of the most sought-after tourist sites in Old Delhi by the second half of the day.

In New Delhi, you will be visiting QutubMinar, Lotus Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate and Bangla Sahib Sikh Temple. Moving onto Old Delhi, you will get to have a glimpse of Raj Ghat, Red Fort and Jama Masjid. With the completion of this full-day sightseeing tour, you will be dropped back at the hotel for your overnight stay.

Visit: The Red Fort (Entrances: Direct, timing 930 Hrs till 1630 Hrs):  was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638 A.D. Originally known as Qila-e-Mualla, the fort was built by the Mughal Emperor after he transferred his capital to Shahjahanabad (Delhi) from Agra in 1638. The monument is called Red Fort because of the ample use of red sandstone walls and and its octagonal shape.

Jama Masjid (No Entrances: Timming: 7 Hrs to 1200 Hrs / 1330 Hrs to 1800 Hrs) is the most elaborate and largest mosque in India. The mosque was built opposite the renowned Red Fort between 1650 and 1656, and the foundation stone was laid by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The Jama Masjid, earlier known as ‘Masjid-I-Jahanuma’ reflects excellent Mughal architecture in its white marble and red sandstone work.

Its two minarets each stand 131 feet tall. Then, Ride Like a Local by rickshaw through the narrow alleys and stalls of Chandni Chowk bazaar, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. Like Jama Masjid, it dates to the era of Shah Jahan and today is a vital part of everyday life here — frequented by locals and a must-see destination for visitors.

Chandni Chowk or the ‘Moonlight Square’ Amazing traditional baazars, vibrant life patterns, colourful atmosphere, a feel of unity and secularism, and heavy crowds – you are at the greatest trading hub of Delhi.

Qutub Minar (Entrances: Direct, timing 700 Hrs till 1700 Hrs), One of the most skilful and artistic Islamic architectures, the Qutub Minar is known as the tallest brick minaret in the world. The basic foundation of the Qutub Minar was laid by Qutubuddin Aibak AD 1199. People believe that the motive behind establishing the tower was to signify the beginning of the Muslim rule in India.

Humayun’s tomb (Entrances: Direct, timing 800 Hrs till 1800 Hrs), the very first garden tomb of its kind in India, the best architectural design of the Mughal dynasty. Built according to a brilliant and mathematical plan, this magnificent architecture took eight long years to complete.

Later drive pass through Rashtrapati Bhavan and Stop some time at India Gate: Surrounded by large stretches of lawns, India Gate is a great historical monument, an ideal destination for family picnic and boating. India Gate is a place to watch life roll by, as well as the colours and people from all over the world.

Day 03: Drive from Delhi to Agra (204km / 4-5 Hours), Half-Day Agra City Tour

Day 04: Drive from Agra to Bharatpur (62km / 2 Hours) (via Fatehpur Sikri), Bird Watching in Keoladeo National Park

Day 05: Drive from Bharatpur to Ranthambore National Park (302km / 5-6 Hours), Wildlife Excursion

Day 06: Drive from Ranthambore National Park to Sariska Tiger Reserve (240km / 5 Hours), Game Drive in Sariska
